QA Tester Segment B - Programmer Analyst / Acceptance tester Level 3 PROFILE IDENTIFICATION Position of the hierarchical superior: SET Delivery Manager Department/ Tribe: ITforBusiness - Partner Journey Entity: South Europe Technologies SET MISSION On SET our goal is to create a real CD/CI with all steps automated and not have a manual intervention, we strongly believe in automation. He’s responsible of the Automation of the most important flows of the different assets. The automation will be carried out with the objective of verify that obtained results of deployed functionalities are aligned with Business Requirements, verifying also the correctly integration of the components. The automation tester does not have any responsibilities regarding ergonomic, look and feel and user experience but can influence these attributes by suggesting improvements to Business Analyst, Web designers or Functional Analysts RESPONSIBILITIES The main responsibilities are: • Creation of Releases and Cycles in ALM (Certification, UAT, NRT, Performance...), following good QA practices. • Collaboration between data analysts, engineers, business, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with goals, timelines, requirements and expectations • Identify, design and run test cases • Test preparation and execution of manual but also automated software test of our different applications • Generate daily and final project reports • Analyze the functional and technical documentation of the project • Creating and uploading evidence • Detect and manage defects with the different IT areas Classification : Internal IT TOOLS • Good knowledge of : o ALM Octane o o Postman • Some knowledge of: o Automation testing experience in APIs o Jira o Debugging using the Chrome/Firefox/Safari developer console o Java o GIT • Optionally/ as a plus: o Selenium o Cucumber SKILLS BUSINESS AND TRANSVERSAL SKILLS • Bachelor's degree in information sciences/vocational training, higher degree in computer science. • Experience in the banking/insurance sector • Knowledge in management, testing, Agile and Waterfall • Scrum Methodology, Kanban • Problem-Solving and Decision-Making person. • Demonstrates advanced analytical and diagnostic skills dealing with issues that are ambiguous, lack known precedent or appear contradictory. • Sees the big picture and is fully aware of technology and business directions.
