# Job Description: SAP HCM Payroll Lead Consultant – Portugal **Contract:** 12 months **Start Date:** ASAP **Location:** Fully Remote ## Role Overview We are looking for an experienced **SAP HCM Payroll Lead Consultant** with strong expertise in Portuguese payroll processes and proven experience delivering end-to-end payroll implementations. ## Key Responsibilities - Lead end-to-end SAP HCM Payroll implementations for Portugal. - Analyse Portuguese payroll requirements and translate them into SAP HCM solutions. - Configure and customise SAP HCM Payroll to meet local statutory and business requirements. - Manage the full project lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design through configuration, testing, go-live and post-go-live support. - Ensure compliance with Portuguese payroll legislation and statutory reporting requirements. - Collaborate with business stakeholders, HR teams and technical consultants. - Lead testing activities, including integration testing, user acceptance testing and payroll validation. - Provide functional expertise and guidance to project teams. ## Required Experience and Skills - Extensive experience as an **SAP HCM Payroll Lead Consultant**. - Strong functional expertise in **Portuguese payroll**. - Proven track record of delivering **end-to-end SAP HCM Payroll projects**. - In-depth knowledge of Portuguese payroll legislation, statutory deductions and reporting. - Experience in payroll configuration, testing, implementation and production support. - Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. - Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment. ## Contract Details - **Duration:** 12 months, with potential extension subject to project requirements. - **Start:** Immediate. - **Work Model:** 100% remote.
