# Job Description: Global Project Manager **Location:** Germany – Remote **Employment Type:** Full-time **Department:** Project Management / Operations **Reports to:** Head of Project Management / Global PMO ## About the Role We are looking for an experienced Global Project Manager to lead and coordinate strategic, cross-functional projects across international markets. This role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, and project delivery capabilities to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. The successful candidate will work remotely from Germany, collaborating with international teams, senior management, clients, and external partners across multiple time zones. ## Key Responsibilities - Lead end-to-end project planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery across global teams. - Define project scope, objectives, timelines, milestones, budgets, and resource requirements. - Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders across different countries, departments, and business units. - Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests, implementing mitigation plans when necessary. - Monitor project performance through KPIs, progress reports, dashboards, and regular status meetings. - Communicate project updates, risks, and strategic recommendations to senior management and stakeholders. - Ensure alignment between project objectives, business priorities, and organizational strategy. - Drive continuous improvement in project management methodologies, processes, and reporting. - Facilitate international meetings, workshops, and decision-making sessions. - Ensure compliance with internal policies, quality standards, and applicable regulatory requirements. ## Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, Information Technology, or a related field. - 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in an international or multinational environment. - Proven track record of managing complex, cross-functional projects from initiation to completion. - Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches. - Excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. - Strong stakeholder management and communication capabilities. - Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project, Asana, or Monday.com. - Ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate effectively across time zones. - Professional fluency in English. - Eligibility to work in Germany, where applicable. ## Preferred Qualifications - PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent project management certification. - Experience working with global teams and international clients. - German language skills. - Experience managing project budgets, resource allocation, and executive-level reporting. - Familiarity with PMO frameworks and portfolio management practices. ## What We Offer - Fully remote working opportunity within Germany. - Flexible working arrangements and an international working environment. - Opportunities to lead high-impact global projects. - Professional development and career growth opportunities. - Competitive compensation package, depending on experience and qualifications. - Collaboration with diverse, cross-functional teams across international markets. ## Equal Opportunity Statement We are committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace.
